The Kilauea Lighthouse was built in 1913 The beam of light could reach 90 miles out to sea, its lens was the largest of its type for the time.
The Lighthouse was turned off in 1976 and placed on the National register.

ReplyDeleteStaying in Princeville, north shore laid back place. I ran along the highway 4 miles out and 4 miles back. I ran at 10a.m. the temprature is pretty moderate all day long, just right for running.
